APC, PDP Supporters Clash In Kogi
There was pandemonium in Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State when supporters of two House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) engaged in an open-air free-for-all.
Leadership gathered that the brawl ensued at a filling station when supporters of some of the candidates attempted to out-maneuver the other on the queue.
In a bid not to be outdone, the other supporters banged in the car, saying they could not buy petrol before their leader, blocking the car from getting the commodity.
The feud escalated even further after news of the incident reached other supporters who were outside the fuel station as they went wild, vandalizing cars belonging to their perceived rivals.
Attempts to reach the Kogi State Police spokesman proved abortive.
