As part of efforts being put in place to ensure free and fair elections this year which are also devoid of Violence, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has organised a 2-day National Youth Summit in Abuja.
To achieve its aim of sensitising the youth, the electoral body today unveiled a number of Nigerian celebrities as its ambassadors.
The summit, organised in collaboration with UNDP-DGD, kicked off early today, Monday January 19, 2015 and will come to an end tomorrow, Tuesday January 20, 2015. With ‘Nigerian Youth: Working for peaceful elections, Deepening our Democracy’ as theme, INEC has unveiled Nollywood actors Jim Iyke, Mike Godson, Gideon Okeke, Gbenro Ajibade, Big Brother finalist, Tayo Faniran; singer, Frank Edwards among others.
