‘’I know that the Eagles are going to descend on us. We’ve mapped out our plans to attack them as well as defend effectively to frustrate them. The danger in this game is that we might use counter-attacks to see off the Eagles’’, the coach boasted.

The Congolese team trained behind closed doors yesterday and according to the French-born coach, he plans to defend stoutly and attack with caution as the Eagles are desperate to beat them in Pointe Noire.

“ We would have to plan effectively to attack and at the same time recover and defend well. We will guard against counter attacks.”

Congo with 7 points from 4 matches seat behind South Africa, while the Super Eagles are 3rd in the table with 4 points.

The defending champions need to beat Congo with at least 2-0 in Pointe Noire to revive her hope of a place at the 2015 Afcon finals.
